RECENT FLOODING

In common with many other parts of Leicestershire and neighbouring parishes, all parts of our Parish have been impacted by surface water flooding as a result of the recent heavy rainfall. We know that some residents and businesses have been affected by water flowing into their homes, and out buildings. We understand how distressing this will be.

The Parish Centre was one of those buildings affected but thanks to prompt action by our staff with assistance from volunteers from the kick boxing club last night major problems were averted and we are open as usual.
